Pretty snow coming down here at Yonge and Lakeshore, not SO cold either! permalink |
Massive frame sale at Michaels, picked up two 24x36, a 20x30 and a 18x24. All less than 160 bucks. permalink |
Got stuck behind two generations of driving-way-under-the-speedlimit Geo Metros. permalink |
High gas prices in Toronto today. Good for environment, but bad for turbo-haters - so I'm really torn. permalink |
HP admits all our DL160 g6 PSUs (the ultra energy efficient 500W ones) are defective. We figured, they denied until now. Great stuff guys. permalink |
Watching the Nutcracker at The National Ballet. Thanks hun! permalink |
Happy new years here in Toronto! (Has Twitter fallen over?) permalink |
Looking out from the 24th floor, corner suite at the Sheraton Center, high above Nathan Philips Square on New Years Eve. permalink |
What are the chances Twitter will fall over for EST-midnight on New Years? (and PST-midnight?) My guess is... very likely! permalink |
All you can eat hotpot and Mario Wii, tonight was definitely a good night. Thanks all! :D permalink |
At another red light, dropped the hammer on the highway from 130ish only to feel a waggle from the backend. Epic icey roads in north Toronto permalink |
Sitting at a red light... Roads are totally iced and slick tonight. I <3 DSC version 7 permalink |
Not sure why saving a few bucks makes people lose their sanity... I've had several parents with small kids just bash their carts into me... permalink |

Merry Christmas to all my crew in Europe today! permalink |

Enjoying moms birthday at Ki with Tom, Sarah, Calden and Eva! permalink |
Blackberry BIS email problems in Toronto? permalink |
Apple denies up and down doing an archive and reinstall on my laptop, despite the fact my kernel and many settings were blown away. Sucks! permalink |
Apple fixed my Macbook Air, replaced the logic board they fried and replaced the display with latest panel. All to fix the hinge. Fast tho! permalink |
Lovely, in swapping my display to fix my *hinge*, Apple fried my MacBook Air motherboard... (They think DOA display.) More delays... *sigh* permalink |
Still off grid, laptop with Apple this weekend: we went skating (didn't get hurt), had pho, the car has childish oomf back. All is good :D permalink |
Worst auto dial call: '...have been trying to reach you...last call to lower your CC rate' Hung up when asked who they were calling for. permalink |
Car is re-Powerflow Stage2'd after now that its (last) visit to BMW (under lease) is complete. Oh mid-range torque, how I've missed you. permalink |
Cold cold Friday. Enjoying soaking some sun up through the window though! permalink |
Matcha goes good with everything, even pellegrino. permalink |
Apple is quite happy to fix my Air hinge (even if I didn't have warranty / applecare) and I get the yet newer gen display! permalink |
For the 2nd time this week it feels great to be back in my car. Nothing drives like a properly setup 3er! Hating the $260 oil service tho :P permalink |
Also the Mini's steering (despite having that FWD tug) 'feels' better than its relative 'size mates' from VW, Mazda, Toyota I've driven. permalink |
Things I do like about this Mini Clubman: fantastic brakes, good seats, great interior materials minus the overused fake chrome, very roomy! permalink |
The rear window of this Mini is useless because there is a big door frame in it... permalink |
The Mini's stereo looks fancy but has a very econo box bass-heavy sound to it. Its quite comfy tho compared to the older ones, and I'm tall! permalink |
The Mini has almost Japanesey levels of terribly positioned controls, and fogs up like an econo box. The flappy padel gearbox is amusing tho permalink |
So the guy tells me I'm getting the last BMW 'made' loaner they have... Its a Mini Cooper Wagon... lol permalink |
Another day without snow down here. Seems everybody else is getting it but me :D One of the many perks of living by the water. permalink |
After much the usual United hassle, we are comfortably seated ready for take off to Toronto! Its been fun as usual San Francisco! permalink |
